The name of Allah, The All-Knowing, is clearly mentioned in the story of Adam (peace be upon him). Our father Adam, in his knowledge, is a reflection of Allah’s knowledge, and he was certain that Allah encompasses all knowledge. It is essential for humans to recognize the name of Allah, The All-Knowing, to strive to understand Allah's names and attributes, to sanctify Him, and to prioritize this matter above all else, making it the most important issue to address and affirm.
We have discussed the name of Allah "the Lord", and its connection to the story of Adam (peace be upon him). Whenever I encounter one of the beautiful names of Allah in the story of Adam, I will pause to explain it to the esteemed reader.
When we contemplate the name of Allah, the All-Knowing, we realize that all knowledge, in all its aspects and considerations, belongs to Allah alone. He knows the matters of the past, present, and future, and He is aware of both significant and trivial matters, large and small. Allah knows the outward and inward realities of things, their unseen and witnessed aspects, as well as what is known and unknown to His creation. He is aware of the necessary, impossible, and permissible matters, and He knows what lies beneath the lowest earth and what exists above the highest heavens. Allah is fully aware of the details of all things, including the secrets of the hearts and the hidden occurrences within the world and His kingdom. His knowledge encompasses all things at all times, and nothing obscures or causes forgetfulness in His knowledge. As stated in various verses: {And Allah is Knowing of all things.} [Al-Baqarah: 282], and {Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts."} [Ali 'Imran: 119].
