Selections from the Book The Story of The Beginning of Creation and The Creation of Adam, peace be upon him …

Episode (79)
Allah Almighty called Eve in the Holy Quran in relation to Adam or collectively with him using the dual form:
- {And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise} [Al-Baqarah: 35].
- {And their Lord called to them, "Did I not forbid you from that tree and tell you that Satan is to you a clear enemy?"} [Al-A'raf: 22].
- {and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will.} [Al-Baqarah: 35].
The beginning of Eve's creation was for a specific purpose. {and created from it its mate that he might dwell in security with her.} [Al-A'raf: 189].
They lived together in Paradise, disobeyed their Lord, ate from the tree, and their nakedness became apparent to them. They descended to the earth and reunited there, experiencing the bliss of Paradise and the hardships of life together. Adam could not have imagined seeing anyone else, whether awake or in a dream, except for her. She was his companion, his solace, and his loyal friend. He saw his descendants and children coming from her, and they rejoiced at the existence of other souls besides themselves. They were overjoyed when they found a copy of themselves emerging into life from within Eve. Thus, Eve was close to Adam, and the relationship between them was a blend of love, friendship, intimacy, companionship, shared beginnings, and a common goal and destiny. Neither of them ever looked down on the other; there were no social or class distinctions between them, and they did not argue out of jealousy or excessive sensitivity. There was no rival or competitor for either of them to look at. Eve did not have a "mother-in-law" who would advise her about her son or compete with her for his love, nor did she feel jealousy because Adam loved his mother’s qualities and dishes more than he loved her. Likewise, Adam did not have a "mother-in-law" who constantly reminded him that Eve deserved someone better than him or who always pointed out that his wife’s living conditions were less favorable than those of her relatives who were less attractive or of lower status.
Adam and Eve were unique in this regard; they did not part ways, disagree, or quarrel, and each sought refuge in the other, finding comfort in their companionship.
Eve understood her role from the very beginning as a source of solace for Adam and a companion on his journey. Soon, she became pregnant, gave birth, and nursed one child after another, becoming preoccupied with this new responsibility that distinguished her from Adam. Adam, on the other hand, had the task of striving and working to provide food and clothing for Eve and their children.
