Indeed, Adam and Eve, as the progenitors of humanity, rushed to cover their nakedness as soon as they realized it was shameful, even before Allah commanded them to do so. This noble human instinct has been instilled by Allah in every human soul; it is naturally inclined toward modesty, virtue, self-restraint, and shyness, avoiding the display of nakedness and feeling embarrassed if it is revealed unintentionally, leading to an immediate effort to cover it. This is the divine nature embedded in every sound soul.
Satan aims to strip people of their modesty to spread immorality and debauchery among them. In contrast, the divine nature inherent in the depths of the human soul calls for covering one’s nakedness and combating nudity, immorality, and vices.
Indeed, the exposure of nakedness is a primitive and deviant behavior that clashes with sound human nature. It is astonishing that the followers of Satan, both men and women in this modern age of ignorance, are eager to oppose and destroy this innate nature. They employ every means to encourage men and women to strip away their modesty in both public and private spaces, leaving almost nothing to cover even their most private parts. Nudity clubs, films, and channels have proliferated in these times, infiltrating the lands, communities, and homes of Muslims. The devils among humans have adorned for the deviants the idea that nudity is the norm, while the covering of a woman’s body is viewed as backwardness or a refusal to adapt to modern life. They have effectively killed the sound nature within women, along with their dignity, virtue, and purity. Many women now take pride in their seductiveness, shamelessness, and degradation. There is a stark contrast between what Allah desires—covering private parts and preserving modesty—and what the devils want: to wage war on human nature and expose nakedness. How beautiful and profound was the action of our parents in Paradise when they rushed to cover their nakedness with the leaves of Paradise as soon as they realized it was shameful for them to reveal it.
